Cream after cream!

Why do I keep getting prescribed crappy cream after cream which I've tried umpteen times and does nothing for my eczema!!! I've told them this!? I've it on the same three fingers on both hands, it's weird and specific. I've asked after the hundredth time of trying different cream and steroid creams if I can you know by referred to a dermatologist, see if I'm Allergic to anything.

My fingers are flaky, dry, weepy (no matter how much is moisturised), very sore, bleed from inevitable scratching, hurt to bend them, stinging when apply the said prescribed cream. Have to constantly wear gloves which gets asked some questions lol. How this just randomly appeared one day is how I wish it'd just randomly disappear again!!

I've tried double base, E45, diptobase, Aveeno etc and the ones GP gives (can't remember the names)

Arghhh!!

Re: Cream after cream!

Sorry to hear that and understand your frustration! An allergy test would be helpful, hope you are able to get an appointment soon. If not, googling for common contact allergens and start eliminating from there might help?

Wishing you the best in 2022!
