Can't cope anymore

Last year in April, I suffered from the WORST bout of eczema in my adult life. Red, raw, weeping and bed confined. It was all over my body. Since I had not used steriods in years, I finally used Betnovate and it cleared it up. Ever since this bad bout, my skin has just been so problematic over the course of the year, primarily being my face. Absolutely distressed because in all the years prior , my eczema has been under control. This past year has taken a serious toll on my confidence since this nightmare of a condition and engulfed my face. My cheeks just go dry, and I mean scaly dry from the top of my cheekbones to my jaw line and its constant and irritable. I can't seem to get this under control at all. I was in the US for about 4 months after my bad bout last year, but since I returned to the UK, my face turned into an absolute disaster. I can't work due to the distress and I'm planning on leaving the UK permanently so that I'm able to find relief. I'm truly at my wits end. The years prior to this , I would go out and socialise and wear what I wanted, but not now. I only meet my closest of friends who understand my condition. I just need some advice or help

Re: Can't cope anymore

So so sorry to hear.. has topical treatment, moisturizing been of any help? How about any immunomodulating treatment? No suggestion from your dermatologist?

Is it pollen? Try keeping windows closed, air cleaner.. any skin prick test that can guide you to what you can eliminate to reduce flare-ups?
