What have i do to cause this flare up?

I have always had to cope with eczema, but not really bad, maybe the red blotchy spot on my arm, nothing bad.
All of a sudden its exploded on both arms.
I'm going to my doctors friday, but i can't last, its so irritating, i can't help but scratch it.
Here is a picture of what it looks like.

Addition information.
I have no changed washing powder etc, i have no changed deodorant, shower supplies, etc.
And there are also like spots, for example when your stung by a nettle, you get them spots ( bumps ) I have them all up my arm.
Any help?

Oh dear, so sorry to hear of the worsened eczema and that itch!

Consider wet wrapping it or placing a cooling pad to deal with the itch, while moisturizing as per usual as well as your topical treatment?

hi i get these rashes and i have urticuria .. similar looking to nettle rash itches like crazy mine flares for no known reason at times . but the pollen definately makes my skin flare ,,antihistimes will help and a mild steroid cream to relieve the itching ..cold ice packs and i find aloe vera gel very soothing hope this helps
