Combined approach?

I am 20 years old and have suffered from eczema my whole life but it has spread over my whole body in the past 6 months and I don't know whether that contributed to this new relationship I began with a guy at around the same time. We have loads of fun but he does control me and stress me out and I'm starting to wonder whether that's why it's gotten so bad. So as a last resort apart from dumping him I've researched this new treatment programme where you basically train yourself not to itch on top of using cream and emollients. Was wondering if anyone has tried this and was successful? Need some good news skin is in agony!

Re: Combined approach?

Hi there, sorry to hear of the worsening eczema. And trust your heart when it comes to relationship, feeling controlled isn't a good sign, big hugs and listen to your heart!
As for the combined approach, you can read more in the Combined Approach series where I collaborated with Dr Bridgett

Also perhaps consider allergy testing or switching your lifestyle (de-stress) to see if you can figure out the trigger for the flare-ups.

All the best, take care & hugs,
