How eczema affects me mentally

I’m not really sure if this is the right place to be posting this kind of thing so I apologise if it’s not. I have had very mild eczema most of my life (about 15 years) whereby the backs of my knees would be itchy, it’s apply sudocrem, and they’d be fine. But in the last year, my eczema has become more and more severe. It’s spread all over my body and my back, it’s on both arms, my neck and has started to spears on my ve and under my eyes which make them look puffy. I’ve been the see my local GP about 6/7 times I’d say, every time I go they give me a new steroid cream, which will work a few days, then become uneffective. I’ve tried everything, from wearing only 100% cotton, to not showering as often and when I do I’m using cold water, I’ve cut out dairy in case it was allergy related. I use Aveeno, nothing works. It’s really stated to have an affect on me mentally, I feel like everyone’s always looking at me and noticing it, I don’t wear anything that isn’t long sleeved anymore, I never want to go out or socialise with my friends because I feel like they’ll tbink it’s weird that I’m covered in a rash. I’m not sure exactly what I want people to comment to help me but at the very least I’ve had somewhere to vent, so thanks.
