Re: Hairy legs

This is tricky! I asked a dermatologist same question on this on my blog, below is her reply
Shaving and waxing of unwanted hairs can lead to micro-tears in the skin. Patients with eczema have an impaired skin barrier function and can easily get skin infection through these micro- tears. It is not advisable to shave or wax your hair if there is a flare of eczema. Laser hair removal, which does not cause micro-tears in the skin, is a more suitable way of removing unwanted hairs for patients with eczema.

I'm not sure how long the laser hair removal last tho and the cost, that's a whole different area that I haven't looked into!

Re: Hairy legs

Hey!

I hated shaving my legs because everything made it sting or the cuts on my legs would get made worst. This might sound strange but I use hair conditioner on my legs when I am shaving. When I am in the shower I take a seat and just rub all across my leg and leave it for 20 seconds then start to shave, once I am finished I just wash it off and after my legs feel so smooth!

I really hope this helps! let me know if you give it a try :)
