Hello my daughter is now 13mths we were told she has cmpi and has therefor be on neocate lcp since she was 4mths old she took bad reaction to her immunastions & she comes out in these white spots which I think are hives so we were wondering what age can she be tested for allergy of food thanks in advance

Dear Lynette,

Your child can be tested from any age using skin prick tests or specific IgE to cow's milk. The clinician just needs to know how to interpret the tests at a younger age.

You mention CMPI (cow's milk protein intolerance) in your post. Please take a look at my post in the children&allergy section on IgE vs non IgE confusion for further information regarding this.
