Re: acne problems

Hello - please visit our hub talkacne - as you will find a lot of helpful practical information here. We also provide signpost information for other organisations such as charities involved in this area. In our hubs you will also find members stories which are also very useful to read to hear how others cope with the issues from acne. We have regular Ask The Expert sessions each month with British Skin Foundation and their experts who will be able to answer your direct questions. As always if you are concerned about your condition and you are finding it hard to self manage please do visit your GP who will be able to advise on your direct issues and may refer you on to a dermatologist.

Hi,
Acne is the major problem of skin. Here are some homemade remedies for acne:-
1. Green Tea:- Green tea has antimicrobial and antioxidant compounds that can help fight acne. To get its effects, use a cooled cup of green tea as a face wash or lay the bag over the affected area.
2. Honey has antibiotic properties can help improve acne. Apply a teaspoon of honey to affected areas.
3. Aspirin:- The salicylic acid in aspirin is go-to for acne treatments, and the aspirin can dry up pimples and reduce inflammation.
4. Aloe vera:- Scrape the gel from an aloe plant out with a spoon, and apply to acne.
Thanks!!

Hi Ashleyjackson,
Great information. I used aloe vera gel for acne treatment and it's very effective.
Thanks.

You can try :
1. Wash the area with a mild cleanser or one that contains salicylic acid.
2. Apply an ice pack to the area for about 5 minutes, to help reduce redness.
3. Avoid picking at the pimples or trying to pop them.

Re: acene problems

In skin break out, the organs start to deliver an excessive amount of sebum. The overabundance sebum blends in with dead skin cells and the two substances structure a module the follicle. On the off chance that the stopped follicle is near the outer layer of the skin, it swells outwards, making a whitehead.

Re: acene problems

Taking care of acne involves a consistent skincare routine. Start by cleansing your face twice a day with a gentle cleanser to remove excess oil and impurities. Refrain from touching your face  throughout the day, as this can transfer oil and bacteria, exacerbating breakouts. Additionally, maintain a healthy diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains while minimizing processed foods or say fast food. These simple steps can contribute to fighting acne and make your skin glowing.
