nut allergy making me suicidal
i hope to god nobody thinks im being dramatic but i have a severe nut allergy that can make me die.
i barley eat maybe a banana if i feel brave. I am petrified to eat in case something has nuts in or has been in contact with nuts.
i also recently heard about someone eating something that wasn't listed with nuts as an ingredient and using 2 EpiPens and it not working and them dying and it sent shockwaves to my body and now i scared to eat anything and haven't in 2 days.
i need help or peace of mind please someone

Hello foreverconfu
Thank you for your post. Living with an allergy of any kind can be frightening, particularly if it's a food allergy. It's normal to feel scared and paranoid, particularly when you hear of stories like the one you refer to. The story you refer to was a young girl who had an allergy to sesame seeds, that were cooked into bread she purchased in a well known food chain. You can read more about it here - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-45623831
We would strongly recommend that you make an appointment to speak to your GP, or if you have an allergies you see then make and appointment to see him/her. They will either be able to provide you with guidance and/or refer you to a dietitian who will be able to help you and allay your fears and concerns.
Also, there are some superb charities what have helplines and we would recommend contacting one we work closely with called Action Against Allergy - https://actionagainstallergy.org/ - they also have a helpline you can call - 020 8892 2711.
We hope this is of help. Please let us know how you get on.

Hi everyone;
All types of allergies are not good for our health if you have a nut allergy and your condition was not good then you have to consult with a doctor because he advises you best that what would you do that can stop your allergy from nuts.

My body can't tolerate wheat or wheat products. I can't eat brown bread or brown flour. I also can't eat museli or all bran: those foods make me sick.
It is frustrating: I love flapjacks and the whatnot, but I am allergic to them. It does mean going without some foods, but that is better than getting sick.

The most effective way to stop self-destructive considerations is to connect for help from a specialist or psychological well-being proficient. Assuming that feels overpowering, begin by contacting a confided in companion, relative, or someone else you have a good sense of reassurance conversing with
