heavy period, more painful than normal

I suffer from ibs and a stomach condition where I bloat quite badly but I'm unsure if there's something else wrong as my recent period is really heavy, with clots and it is painful when I urinate (but not like the sting from cystitis) it feel like my whole womb is about to fall out! I had a smear in November which came back ok and I currently have the contraceptive implant which does mean I have irregular periods so do I am I just having a really bad one because I've not had one in a while? I'm worried I'll miss a symptom and it could be something serious

Re: heavy period, more painful than normal

You seem to be up to date with your smears and sensible - you are right that the issues are probably due to your Implanon, but if they continue I would seek referall.
