Irregular bleeding.

Since beginning a new relationship this year and having regular sex - I've notice in January I began spotting directly in the middle of my cycle, February more than spotting occurred in the middle of the cycle and this month I had a full blown period for 48 hours in the middle of my cycle.

Re: Irregular bleeding.

Mid cycle spotting is from the cervix. It can be normal, around the time of ovulation, and is often caused by being on the pill. It may be that with regular intercourse, your cervix is having contact bleeding.
This is a good time to have a smear and a swab for chlamydia as a precaution.
