How do I get ovarian test?

1, How do get ovarian test after I've been diagnosed cervical cancer?
2, How can I get treatment plan? Currently, I am only dealing with Hospital registrars?
3, How can access a clinical specialist?

Re: How do I get ovarian test?

It's difficult to answer all your questions on this forum, as I don't know all your details, but some general advice:
1. If you have been diagnosed with cervical cancer, you will have a scan that will also look at your ovaries. You should ask your doctor about this in more detail if you are particularly concerned.
2. It may take a while to get a treatment plan, as your doctors will need quite a lot of information, some of which will need extra tests, before they can recommend the best way of treating you. If you are not happy with the information you have been given by the doctors who have seen you, you can request to see a consultant at your next visit.
3. Everyone with cervical cancer should be seen by a clinical specialist - it might not be at every visit - sometimes you may see a registrar. You should also have the opportunity to talk to a specialist nurse. They should be able to answer your questions and make sure you are seen by an appropriate specialist.

Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust is an excellent support charity - web based. I hope it will be helpful:
