Hi, i have a 2 1/2yr old son, when he was about 10months old are saw a lump on the side of his neck, there are now a couple there and on both sides, after numerous visits to the docs, they tell me it is just his lymph nodes, but i cannot relaw about them, i just worry about them all the time and am always looking at other children's necks to see if i can see them......i just don't know where to go from here??

Re: lumps

Its very common to be able to feel or see the lymph nodes in children's necks.
It is more common if they also have eczema. It is a sign that they are able to fight off infection. Most fo the time it is nothing to worry about.
Symptoms that should make you see a doctor about them include:
Red, hot or tender lumps
Rapidly enlarging lumps
