I have an over active bowel for the last 6 months. Not always but most weeks for a few days. Not all out diarrhoea or constipation. Stools too wet/loose = can go 3-6 times a day. Told poss intolerance and tested to show poor result with wheat/oats/barley/caffeine. But…avoiding virtually everyday and still have the problem two months on.. Occasionally 4 consecutive days - normal. Gas yes and usually worse at night. Have had this complaint for much shorter periods in the past. Mental state fine. General health good.
