Dear Andrea,

Many thanks for posting your question. IBS (irritable bowel symdrome) is a condition of the digestive system which can cause bouts of stomach cramps, bloating, diarrhoea and constipation. Symptoms are variable and affect patients differently.
Symptoms may be triggered by certain foods and during periods of stress.

A diagnosis of IBS should be made by your GP to determine the cause and to rule out any other conditions before providing treatment advice.

I would advise that you visit your GP to have this condition formally diagnosed and depending on your specific symptoms, a recommendation of appropriate treatment can be made.

Kindest regards,
