low right pelvic pain with ibs
Hi, I am new here but not new to ibs. I am so worried as my last two flares a year apart have been low on right towards groin and over pubic area. Normally my ibs was lower left or moving all round. I had ct during first flare just over a year ago and also a pelvic mri on 18th feb 2015 all clear. All was well until about 10 days ago when this pain returned with more severity. Saw a gynae as I worried over ovaries had ultrasound again nothing. What I want to ask is does anyone have pain lower right.
Everyone says it should be on left. I have one specific place which is low rihht over pubic/pelvic region where I feel it but also into groin and windlike pains moving. Hurts to bend and sometimes move.
Please anyone am I mad or is it my ibs. Am trying silicol gel but no difference just more gas

Hi Maria,
Sorry to read you are in pain. I fully understand as I too suffer severe pain in my pelvic area, both sides. Even as I type I am in pain. I feel sore in entire pelvic area and my doctor just says its my IBS! That really doesn't help me at all as i find it painful to move, walk, bend , basically do anything. With 3 kids and 2 dogs to look after i get very frustrated and stressed. All I have been given is colpermin as apparently I have tried all other medicines and none have helped! I really hope you are feeling better soon and you are not MAD!

Thank you for sharing your story and support.
Have you tried any other pain relief alternatives? Our blog thread for pain may be useful to read to offer suggestions, if there are any on there you haven't tried?

Hi Maria,
Sorry to hear from you. My close friend was also suffering from the pelvic pain, then her doctor suggest im for physical therapy. Now his pain is recovered slowly. You should also go for the same.
Thanks
