Delay Period

Is there anything i can take to delay my period for the next two coming weeks, i have some special occasions due to take place and don't want period to restrict me. Thanks

To delay a period, you can take a high dose progestogen hormone called norethisterone at a dose of 5mg three times a day, starting 3 days before your period is due to start.

However, this is a prescription only medicine and you need to see your doctor to have this prescribed.

Your doctor will also need to make sure you are suitable to take this hormone; for example, it cannot be taken if you have certain medical conditions, if you may be pregnant, if you have any unexplained vaginal bleeding.
