Bowels

For about a year and a half I have had piles, which are now being dealt with, but my main worry is that the reason I have them is my pattern of bowel movements, so they will just come back anyway.

I eat well (I think) and don't look nutrient defficient. I am 53 and have had 3 children.

So every morning I go to the toilet usually first thing. it can be quite urgent. It is soft. but then I spend the rest of the day feeling that I need to go. Sometimes I do. This morning I have been 3 times.

Later in the day I start passing wind. this is a relief, as I often feel that I need to pass an orange.

Re: Bowels

Difficult defecation with a feeling of incomplete emptying can be helped by improving the strength of your pelvic floor. It would be worth asking your GP to refer you to a Continence Physiotherapist.
