Black stool

I am 23 years old & I have been out drinking for the last 2 nights. Today I woke up and passed two stools which have both been very dark in colour. I am very concerned.

we get concerned when we hear about a tarry black stool i.e could there be blood in it from the stomach....however if you are feeling ok now and had no further black stools it is unlikely there is anything up as stools could be quite dark for other reasons eg what you ate. However if they are black this shouldnt be ignored and the test you would need is a blood count which perhaps your GP practice nurse could do?
