Lump in/near bowel

I have recently had a CT scan via A&E after experiencing excruciating pain in my right side and back. The scan showed a growth in/near my bowel which I was informed they thought to be some sort of calciferous deposit. I was sent away with no further explanation and there has been no follow up. I am unsure as to what I should be doing or as to weather this is serious and I should be referred to somebody. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Re: Lump in/near bowel

I would recommend that you make an appointment with your GP so that you can discuss the recent events leading to your A&E admission. Your GP will be able to reassure you and / or if appropriate refer you for further tests.
