I hope you appreciate that the health professionals on this forum cannot make diagnostic assessments or recommend specific types of management, or investigation, on an individual basis

From what you say, it sounds as though it might be helpful to ask for a GP referral to a hospital based ME/CFS clinic where someone with expertise in this illness could separate out what is probably due to ME/CFS and what needs to be further investigated

There is a full list of all the UK hospital- based referral services on the MEA website: http://www.meassociation.org.uk along with contact details

If your GP feels that your symptoms may be more like MS than ME (and there can be clinical overlap here) you could ask for an opinion from a neurologist who is interested in ME/CFS (because some are not).

Get your GP to test your thyroid as a lump in the throat and difficulty swallowing can be a symptom of Hypothyroidism, and some of the symptoms can also mimic ME.
