Anxiety
I have been diagnosed with CFS, since 2005 and Fibromyalgia since 2004, having struggled for many years, with no help or support from my medical practice. I then went on to develop severe Chrons disease, with major surgery to have a bowl resection and an Iliostomy. I am now on Humira, no signs of muscle pain or fatigue improving. trying to cope with chest infections and migraines, new to me. I visited my Gp,she still is saying Anxiety, I cannott seem to get any compassion or empathy and understanding, they have no time for me, and I feel no one really cares, this makes me feel as I am making it up, Somataform disorder has been mentioned, when I asked if I was going to be put away, the answer was, theres no where to put you..... how can I get some kind of understanding. I have thought about changing practice, but fearful of what has been written in my notes, because this will follow me.

Re: Anxiety
You ought to ask your GP if you could be referred to a specialist ME/CFS clinic for an opinion on both diagnosis and management
Full list of NHS hospital based ME/CFS services, including contact/phone numbers can be found on the MEA website:
