Hair Removal advice

I cannot use any make up or perfumes on my face as the skin is so sensitive, I get eczema very easily.
I am suffering from hair growth on my chin and upper lip. I asked years ago for help and was advised to just cut the hairs. This has resulted in the hair becoming thick and dark. I know i would not be able to wax, but wonder if laser treatment would work without causing a reaction. I had also heard about a cream that would inhibit hair growth and wonder if it would be suitable for eczema sufferers, but don't know what it is called.
I have found it too embarrassing to ask my Gp, but it is now badly affecting my confidence as i am self conscious and really need to sort it out. I would appreciate advice, so that it will be easier to discuss with my GP
