All over eczema

I have had eczema for a few years now- i have it all over me- i wash in aveeno and double base, use elecon on my body and a weak steroid on my face- with either epiderm or 50/50 over the top.
i also take two different kinds of antihistamines in order to stop the itching. My skin is never under control, i am always on the verge of a breakout and its never settled. My dermatology nurse keeps prescribing ne topical treatment like tape and wet wraps but nothing seems to work.
I've had patch testing and blood tests and have a nut allergy but nothing else. Is there anything else i can do? I have tried elimination diets etc.
It is ruining my life, im 27 and don't see my friends, i stay in either to moisturise or because my skin is too bad to go out.

Hallo

Can you tell us a bit more about what kind of elimination diet you followed?

Hi ellsaroo!

Check out itsan.org
You may have steroid induced eczema which so many of us (including myself) have. Please check it out, it may be your answer. It was mine, and I too have spent so much of my life feeling sad because of my skin. Little did I know it was the elocon and other creams causing the issue and making my life hell. Good luck to you :)
