itchy skin rash

Hi,i would really appreciate your advice about an upsetting skin condition i have.i have a severe rash that flares up approximately once a month on the lower part of my third finger.this is on both hands on the inside of the fingers.they suddenly become extremely itchy and of course if i scratch them they weep.following this its like i have no feeling in the area and its now starting to look like i have had skin grafts on these areas and i have lost sensation and they are very dry.when they start itching i get blisters i these areas too.the doctor has given me hydrocortisone cream and also betnovate but these don't help much and i am really worried i will left with permanent scars.i would really appreciate your advice.thanks.
