Dreadlocks and scalp psoriasis
Hi there,
I have been suffering from chronic scalp psoriasis for about 2-3 months. As a double edged sword, I also have dreadlocks; good in the sense that it generally covers the horrendous scales; bad because they fall out into the roots of my dreads and get caught there. Treatment-wise I have used the T-gel shampoo, anti-dandruff shampoos, aloe gel, apple cider vinegar rinses... Nothing shifts this stuff. Having dreads, it is fairly difficult, but not impossible to get to the scalp easily, perhaps a lotion or medicated shampoo might work?
All advice gratefully received; regards to all.

Try a coal tar based shampoo . It gives me great relief.

Have you ever considered Aloe Gel and Propolis cream. Something I used for Psoriasis on my hands helps sooth the skin itching and irritations and has been known to calm it down.
