I think the pictures do speak for themselves. I was faced with similar negativity when I suggested to my dermatologist that I put my daughter on an exclusion diet for her eczema. They said it wouldn't make a difference. But, like you, I did it anyway and it did make a difference. There's a saying - go with your gut instinct!

Diet should not be over looked... for example if you have a dairy allergy should you avoid natural non-pasturised milk...? Most can drink it with no ill effect and usually with improved digestion. Its a shame you cant buy it anywhere but from the farm though! http://www.raw-milk-facts.com/

good progress in the pictures, what did you change in your eating habbits - very interesting!

Re: Diet Heals Psoriasis

Since having psoriasis I have tried to avoid certain things in my diet (spicy food, red meat, red wine etc.). Although I cannot say this has made the psoriasis better it has become more bearable and at least I feel that I have been trying to help things. I do think that one of the most important things however is to drink plenty of water.

Hi, yes I agree with you with regards to drinking plenty of water. I have cut out coffee, which seems to help too.

This is great, man! I really believe that diet plays a great roll in psoriasis treatment, and it's really hard to believe that a physician can say otherwise, since a lot of skin conditions are modified by the nutrients we eat.

I'll of course be following your blog!

Re: Diet Heals Psoriasis

I have just posted a question in the Online Clinic on Food Allergies - to see what the experts suggest about food allergies etc and psoriasis - so should be interesting to see what they response from them is.....
