prostate cancer
I have had a testicular problem for some years now something to do with a weak valve that allows urine to enter my testicle on the left hand side .
it seemed to have settled down but for the last 6 weeks the testicle has been swelling with no pain or redness and it doesnt hurt when i urinate , no discharge .
A few days ago the pain started under my ribcage also on the left hand side , its not excrutiating just seems to make it difficult to breathe in .
my previous medical history is recurring non hodgkins foliccular lymphoma but i have been in remmission for 5 years since my stem cell transplant i also had post peronoital fibrosis which stopped my kidneys working and i have stage 2 diabetes and my urine seems to be regular and clear
i am a 52 year old male so im not so concerend about testicular cancer as im sure im to old for that and apart from the swelling there are no unusual lumps
i dont think my testicle or kidney is infected as i took a course of general anti biotics a wek ago
I have never had unprotected sex either , could this be a sign of prostate cancer

Re: prostate cancer
Hi
a complicated history....
It is important that you see your GP:
1. someone needs to examine your testicle
2. you probably need an ultrasound to check it out further.
3/ your chest pain is probably unrelated but also needs proper assessment
4. there is nothing in what you have said that would make me worry about prostate cancer - but I think especially with all the problems you have had before, this needs a proper assessment.
Hope that is useful.
