Perspiration

Perspiration
My husband would never admit to needing to see a doctor but I'm slightly concerned about the amount he sweats. We are a sporty family but even when he's not specifically doing exercise, his level of perspiration is unusually high.
I've attempted "extra strong" deodorants without success and so just wondered if there is something else I can suggest, without embarrassing him by insisting upon him visiting a doctor.
Many thanks.

Re: Perspiration
Is he generally sweaty or is it just armpits or feet?

Re: Perspiration
Thank you very much for the reply.
He is generally sweaty, but obviously in normal situations it is most visible in the usual places...his forehead and underarms.
He is probably a tad overweight and so I'm making a conscious effort to target that, assuming that that might help, but am still keen for any other suggestions!
Hugely appreciate your help.

Re: Perspiration
If he is generally sweaty, it depends on what you mean by a 'tad' overweight - as this is probably the commonest cause. However, if he is not particularly overweight and his sweatiness is a new problem, then he should have some blood tests performed, particularly to exclude things like overactive thyroid. However, if he has always been excessively sweaty and is overweight, then his best bet to improve things is to keep on exercising and try to lose a few lbs....
