Mirena coil

Hi ,

I wonder if anyone can give me an answer . I had the mirena coil fitted last April for heavy periods which are daily and for pelvic pain which the pain is much better. However I have had in the past 8 weeks been suffering from heart palapatations which are lasting all day to the point of making me feel sick . Could this be related to the coil hormones.

Re: Mirena coil

The dose of progesterone is very low so I would get your GP to refer you for cardiology investigations for the palpitations.
