Can endometriosis cause adhesions

I had a laparoscopy two years ago to investigate for endometriosis. Periods got heavier and very painful. I get terrible lower back pain and pain into the front of my thigh. I get crushing right ovary pain. I also have 3-4 days of pain around ovulation.I get diarrhoea during my period and pains like sometime has stuck a knife in my back passage. The lap found my left ovary was stuck to my colon and they were stuck to the abdominal wall.The surgeon described it as strange.They said no endo.Don't have fibroids either.
I got no explanation as to what caused it. That was my first surgery and I never had an std. I still have the same symptoms . I'm in my late thirties and don't have kids.
