I have been having constant bladder infections since Dec 2012,
since I had botox injections for irratable bladder, Do you know why this should be happenning my consultant is at a loss

I am having to self catheterise 4 times a day.

Botox for overactive bladder is an effective treatment but can lead to poor bladder emptying which is linked to infections. It usually wears off after 6-12 months.
You should have your residual volume measured with a flow rate and also have a renal tract ultrasound to check you haven't got a kidney stone or other kidney abnormality.
Assuming this is all normal
The urine culture is key to seeing which organism is causing the problem
If it is possible to find the causative organism then appropriate antibiotics may wipe it out.
A 3-6 month period of preventative antibiotics may then help
