It sounds as if your obstetric history has left you with a pelvic floor weakness with an anterior prolapse of the rectum into the vagina when you strain so that you need to press backwards on the vagina to expel a stool. This situation can tend to get worse as you get older and the connective tissue weakens. There are surgical operations that can correct this problem. it would be worth seeking a referral to a specialist anorectal surgeon.

Thank you for the Reply, I'm going to see the nurse who deals with me next month and I will ask her if she can get me back to the doctor who can deal with this.
