Melasma
Hi, im 34 years old. I hav had Melasma for 2-3 years. Is there 'anything' out there, products, that can make it disappear. Or is it the case of covering/camouflage make up? Can anybody recommend any brands/products that will cover/conceal it and still look natural?
Re: Melasma
Hi
skin camouflage should not be applied thickly, or be detectable when correctly used - however melasma does usually require a complementary colour underneath the acceptable skin match (otherwise a bluey-brown shadow appears through the camouflage product).
it will be essential to apply sun protection, whether you use skin camouflage or not; may we plead with you not to purchase skin bleaching products but to consult your dermatologist for medicines that might be of help (BASC graduates do see a lot of people who have depigmented skin and burn injuries due to using skin bleaches purchased from "questionable" suppliers).
