Objective Research ??!!

Re CELLULITUS relating to LIPOEDEMA

Is it possible you could be born with a genetic condition relating to chronic cellulitus of soft tissues effected by the heart & hormones & any interference , making acute- lymphoedema .

I look 6 mths pregnant with breasts weighing 1 stone each .All this on a gastric band eating half child portions . I originally lost 3 stone when not eating .Have numerous conditions such as low thyroid,CFS & mobility where cannot exercise - 68 yrs old.
I believe I have this all over & what is being done about it rather than letting Nurses on remits run it focussing on individual aspects such as ankles .I cannot even get private assistance because of remits .
I have a numerous conditions where exercise is'n't an option & may need to be hoisted eventually with multi infart dementia like my Mother .
Where is objective research ?
Doctors on remits isn't it.

Hi There,

It sounds like the best plan would be for your GP to refer you for a consultation with a dermatologist with an interest in 'lymphatic conditions and the skin' such as lipoedema and lymphoedoma.

Best of luck
