Re: red nose and cysts on face
Rosacea is avery distressing condition, there are different categories called subtypes.
Redness is frequently a problem and this can be due to inflammation in the skin or due to open (dilated) blood vessels which cause the skin to look redder.
As you are getting cysts and your nose is permanently red it sounds as if you have inflammation in the skin, this can usually be helped with an antibiotic called a tetracycline and there are some creams or gels that can also be applied to the skin to help.
I would suggest that you see your GP to discuss the options and they will prescribe these treatments for the inflammation.
If some redness persists there is also a preparation that can be used to make the dilated blood vessels narrow, this temporarily makes the skin look paler.
Some dilated blood vessels can also be treated with a laser.
