ithcy throat child

Hi,

My 7 year old daughter who is anaphylactically allergic to peanuts and also suffers from hay-fever, mild asthma, mild eczema and oral allergy syndrome is often complaining of an itchy throat, tongue and ears at night (bedtime), what could be causing this? and are there anything I can do to relieve it? She is on regular antihistamines so cannot give her any more of that.

Kind regards!

Hi
if this is a recent thing, coinciding with the start of the pollen season I wonder if pollen is getting caught on her hair, rubbed on her pillow and then causing irritation? If it has been going on longer, maybe dust mite allergy has become a problem. Try a dust mite pillow cover and ensure her daily dose of antihistanine is given just before bedtime
