Eczema on Bottom of Feet

Hey I'm new to this group. I've had a spot of eczema on my leg for over a year. It's now all over. The worse is on the bottom of my foot. It itches and gets white fluid in it then it pops. If it doesn't pop I end up with blisters on the bottom of my foot. I've been to lot's of doctors and have lot's of creams. I also use Vaseline to try and keep them from cracking once they heal.

Now it's starting on my hands. Can someone offer any advice??

Thanks

Sorry to hear that.. wondering if it's contact allergy? Maybe consider taking a patch test to find out? Sweat residue on skin also irritates.. consider antiseptic like chlorhexidine too, take care!

It's all over my body but the feet blister. I'm now getting it on my hands and they have tiny blisters.

Re: Eczema on Bottom of Feet

Hey.. does it look like the picture in the link on National Eczema Association website?
https://nationaleczema.org/eczema/types ... ic-eczema/

The 'normal' eczema doesn't blister, unless it's infection, so thinking it may be another form of eczema like the one in the link above?? Did doctor say specifically what eczema it is?

take care!

Re: Eczema on Bottom of Feet

He said it's like the kind you get on your hand and fingers with the little blisters but because it's on the bottom of my foot and you walk on your feet it is worse on the feet. I hate to jinx myself but I think I have found that by putting the prescribed ointment on it then Vaseline it is finally starting to get better. Of course it takes about 5 or 6 band aids a day but I don't care as long as it doesn't blister.

Re: Eczema on Bottom of Feet

I know this is quite a late reply but this sounds like Dyshidrotic eczema, I have had it nearly all my life. It started on the soles of my feet as a child, like oil or water filled bubbles. Now, as an adult, I have it badly on my hands. Its a never ending cycle of blister- raw skin- heal- repeat. Unfortunately theres no cure and as far as my doctor has told me you cant really treat the blisters. You just have to wait and then treat the mess they leave behind. When i was a child my doctor had my mother prick the ones on the soles of my feet to speed the process along and make it easier for me to walk.
