Eczema on my face. HELP!

Hi guys, my name is jade I'm 28 years old and have suffered from eczema my whole life. Generally I get eczema on my legs every now and then but have never, ever had it on my face. I was on night shift for 6wks straight so I assumed the flair up was from that. However that was 4 wks ago. Originally the little break out was a tiny dot on my chin which i thought was a pimple. So i treated it as a pimple. 2 wks later it became bigger, redder and so much more painful. Ive been on novosone for years now however never put it on my face. I can't get into my skin specialist for 3 months. I have booked an appointment with my Gp on monday. Last gp i went to told i should just moisturize and stop using novosone on my face, instead use a 1% hydrocortisone. I used that for a few days and the flair up became so much worse!! So please help? Can I use novosone on my face?? Are there any natural remedies for eczema on the face? ? So far ive tried turmeric paste (which i found worked well), ive been using coconut oil as a moisturizer for a few days. Brought the dermaveen skin wash today. Any other suggestions would be fantastic. Im starting to stress so much about it and have to go back to work on Friday :(

Re: Eczema on my face. HELP!

Sorry to hear of your facial rash, hugs. Is there anyway you can see a skin specialist sooner? I'm thinking it may not be eczema but other type of facial rash...you can see this series of posts which I've interviewed a dermatologist and see if any of it is relevant for you

Take care.. so sorry and hope you'd get better,
