Hey guys so really struggling

Hey guys so really struggling here,
I've suffered with eczema all my life I'm 24 now.
It's so sever at the moment I've had to be signed off work, I'm a care assistant if had a new kind of flare up on my hand (just my left) and my face. I think the flare up on my hand is very because a work colleague pointed out to me the other day that when i was talking about a difficult subject i was catching the backs of first hers and hand she said she notices i do it often if I'm upset angry nervous ect so i think that's why that's bad. My elbows and legs are the best they have ever been at the moment but still so painful to walk and we are trousers of any kind. My main struggle at the moment is there flare up on my face, it's red raw around my eyes and my cheeks under my nose and my chin is all red and blotchy but not as angry as round my eyes. My entire face is burning constantly and feels tight it's also a little swollen I'm in so much pain. I've been lucky enough that i haven't had a flare up on my face since i was 14 but even then it wasn't like this no where near this. Been to my gp twice in 2 days and all they have given me is more cream and more steroids and it isn't really helping. They did screen the hell out of me telling me i had scabies and then cha bed Thier mind the next day!! So i have been googling face rashes ect and that was scary too! I don't know what it is that's causing it doc seem to think it's a reaction but have done nothing different than normal and it just hurts to much and i don't know what to do now. Has anyone got any advice would be very very appreciated x

Sorry to hear of the problems.. I'm not sure though if it's an eczema flare-up or other conditions.. would you be able to see a specialist instead? Take care, hugs.

Re: Hey guys so really struggling

Hello,
I've had eczema for most of my life, and just recently it went away when I started splashing water on my face with just a tad bit of olive oil mixed with it (I live in AK, and its a pretty dry climate here- and I read recently that skin loves humidity- and I remembered how great my skin felt in Hawaii)
I am now making home-made facial mists for myself to keep with me at all times to keep my face dewy- it works! Hope this helps you, God Bless :)

Wow, sounds like your facial mask is working :) Be sure to use the right kind of olive oil :) Fragrance free, virgin, maybe organic? The more processing it has undergone, the more likely addictives have been used during processing.. not sure if coconut oil would work too, happy for you that things are working out!

Re: Hey guys so really struggling

Hello! I also have had eczema for most of my life. I used to feel really isolated growing up, because other kids would point out the eczema on my hands. They'd ask me if they were burns from how raw they were from me scratching.I was really self conscious growing up, and still kind of am. At one point I had it on my lips and around my mouth too!

I've found a body wash and cream that have worked for me and I've been clear for a while now, but sometimes it seems that stress and certain things I eat or drink cause me to flare up again on my hands and arms.

I have tried so many expensive creams for the eczema on my hands. I'm a server so I wash my hands all day at work and they get really irritated. Foderma serum made a visible difference within a day, and got rid of the discomfort. After a few days it completely cleared up. If you're having eczema problems you should definitely try this.
