Fast heartbeat caused by food allergy

Hi I find that when I restrict a food and then reintroduce it, the ones that I am allergic to speed my heartbeat up within minutes of eating, is this normal? It mainly happens with wheat based refined products such as white bread, pastries, cereal (weetabix in particular), breakfast biscuits, supernoodles, but also happens with other processed food high in sugar or fat such as crisps, chips, deserts, chocolate. It does not happen with any fruit, vegetables, dairy, meat or meals cooked from scratch. Is this normal?
