Young girl

Hello - I am worried about my daughter... she is 21 - so an adult - but in my eyes still very young. She doesn't drink really during the week, but at the weekends she goes out with her friends and gets very drunk... so much so that I know she doesnt always know what she has been up to. It worries me that she is doing real damage to her health and everything i say falls on deaf ears. What do you think is the best way to speak to her in a way that she will listen and not thinking i am just a nagging old mum. I do really worry about her and also her friends who are just the same.

I also wondered if there is any evidence that behaviour like this might lead on to further problems - or is it somethign that she will grow out of - not sure that when we were young we drunk in quite the same way ?

I really thank you for any advice that you can offer as no idea who i should ask about this and I am really really worried. Susan
