sore / tingling tongue
Could there be a connection with allergy or maybe vitamin deficiency that would give me a sore/tingling tongue? I have had this off and on for 5/6 years. Thankyou

Re: sore / tingling tongue
thank you for your question. I am sorry to hear about your problems. It might be a good idea to ask your family doctor whether testing for vitamin B12 and/or folic acid level would be reasonable in your case. It may be that this has already been checked.
Your symptoms may also be due to type I allergic reaction to foods and similar allergens. You may therefore want to be referred to a specialist.
I hope this is helpful.
