When can I exercise again?

I had my 3rd IVF and got pregnant however I had a miscarriage and according to the IVF cycle it should have been 4 and half weeks. I want to know when I can start exercising as I had gained quite a lot of weight during my IVF cycle and also since I was not pregnant for long is it safe for me try again naturally with my next period cycle ?

Hi Zaharin. I was sorry to hear that after going through 3 IVF cycles you ended up having an early miscarriage. You will have been through much, what with the treatment cycle then suffering a miscarriage, so I feel it would be best to gently ease back into exercising, providing there were no complications. See how you feel – listen to your body – as they all say. You may want to go for a walk for a few days, and then you won’t want to. I realise that you are anxious about gaining some weight, but as you get stronger, so the normal exercising you were used to will come back. Diane
