very painful sexual intercourse
Hi I don't know if this question can be asked, but will ask you the worst you can say is no...
For as long as I can remember sexual intercourse is very painful I have to use Ky jelly all the time I am very dry but not only this I also feel like I have acid burning me feels like Chinese burn, I have not gone though menopause I am 45 and very frustrated with my situation is there anything else I can do to enjoy sex with my husband as after sex I am in so much much pain with the what feels like burning and bad thrush attack but I do not have thrush I am not going through menopause .

It is important to exclude bacterial infection and anatomical causes.
Some agents used for lubrication may cause more discomfort.
If the symptoms persist despite use of appropriate lubrication, a gynaecological assessment may be indicated.
