Re: cpap machine and mask supplier

Hi Steve, sorry to hear you are having trouble with your new mask. Different pieces of kit suit different people. There is always an issue of funding within the NHS and making sure that the pot is fairly spread out amongst everyone - difficult in these very expensive times. I can only suggest that you have another chat with your specialist nurse about it, or even the manufacturers themselves? Dr Webberley

Re: cpap machine and mask supplier

Dear Steve,

Thanks for your post, CPAP is always difficult, but given that you were successfully able to use it with your previous mask effectively, then this shows commitment on your part.

I would get in touch with the physiology department and reiterate that if the mask they are supplying does not give an adequate seal then it is not doing its job.

Best wishes

Vicky
