Roseaca acne

I am a 73 year old lady. For most of my life I have suffered from Roseaca, but for the last 15 years I have been suffering from Roseaca acne as well. It wasn't that bad at first but over the years it has steadily got worse. At first I was given metro gel lotion but it made it worse. Then earlier this year the doc gave me antibiotics which were great. Only problem is I could only have them 6 months, and now after a month off them my face is worse than ever . Sore and itchy and it is really getting me down. Is there anything I could try to ease this dreadful complaint

Re: Roseaca acne

Hi,

It sounds like you have really been struggling with your roseaca symptoms. Our myrosacea support programme provides 12 weeks of practical information about how to manage some of the symptoms you are describing, perhaps you should look at signing up here?https://www.talkhealthpartnership.com/psp/rosacea.php
Alternatively you can always have a look at the NHS self help recommendations here;
https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/rosacea/self-help/

Hope this helps,
Regards
