Is my doxycycline treatment long enough?
My dr has just prescribed me doxycycline and Differin cream for my moderate adult acne. In the message he sent me he said he recommended 2-3 months of treatment, but he has only prescribed 28-days worth of 100mg capsules to be taken once a day. Do I need to ring back after a month and get more or will this be enough if my acne is only moderate/being used in conjunction with the Differin?? Thanks for any help!

I'd say you will have to ring your doctor after a month and get a repeat prescription. Since you've only been given a month's worth and your doctor said you needed 2 to 3 months of said treatment.
I do hope I've helped. Definitely phone up your doctor at the end of the month and get a repeat prescription. You'll have to do this for the third month, too.

Doxycycline is an antibiotic commonly prescribed for short-term acne treatment. It works to kill acne-causing bacteria and lower inflammation. The most common side effects are sun sensitivity and nausea.
