Accutane

I recognize the benefits of Accutane, but shouldn’t the drug company disclose ALL the risks to doctors and acne patients before use. I believe Roche didn’t want people to know that Accutane could lead to IBD or Crohn’s Disease because they wouldn’t make as much money. That’s not right or legal.

A lot of acne medicines have risks. Instead of making medicines doctors need to figure out what triggers it.

According to embarrassing bodies chocolate, pizza and make up do not cause acne.

If they don't then what does ???

I heard that food doesn't cause acne but when i have chips or crisps my face and hair feels really greasy and yuck so i don't bother much now but i would like to know why this happens or if anyone else has it?

I was offered accutane a few years ago but turned it down because of the side affects. It was tempting and my family were supportive of what ever i wanted to try but dry lips, nose and eyes put me off - go from greasy to crusty!

Have never tried Accutane. I've always been put off by the side effects, i think i would only ever use it if all else failed me. I have been using blemishless for the past few months & i have to say its a little life saver.
