Hi

I doubt it is serious but it is bothering you. So, see your GP - I see men with problems like this every day, so there is absolutely no reason to be embarrassed - it's just another part of your body ands no reason to treat that area differently - if it's causing a problem, get your dr to have a look.

Hi

I agree with Dr Rees, the majority of testicular aches and pains are caused by common conditions that do not usually require treatment. The easiest way to find out what is causing the discomfort is for your GP to examine you ( he or she will have performed dozens of such examinations). They can request an ultrasound scan of the scrotum if they need further detail. It is better to seek professional advice which will also give you peace of mind.
